Please note that a hard reset will clear all your data and contacts (including programs you have installed yourself), so back up before you do this. A soft reset should be sufficient to solve any problems you experience so try this first before attempting a hard Reset. Press and hold the Left and Right Soft Keys (depicted as items 13 and 14 in user manual) while using the stylus to press the RESET button at the left side of your device. Alternatively tap Start > Settings > System > Factory Settings and then type 1234 and press the left soft key (Yes) to restore your device to factory settings.
